February 13, 2010:

Its Tax Time Again ! - We have recently mailed our reminder card to clients.

A check list of items to bring in with your 2009 Personal Tax information can be found in our Taxes & Tax Planning Section, along with information about the Home Renovation Tax Credit. 

We have also included in that same section, worksheets that can be completed for Business Income & Expenses, Rental Income & Expenses and the Home Renovation Credit. 

Commencing March 1st, our Office Hours are extended to 8:30am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays, we will be closed Easter Weekend to allow our staff time with thier families.

February 13, 2010:

Home Renovation Tax Credit will apply to all eligible expenditures between January 28, 2009 and January 31, 2010.  More details about the credit including examples of Qualifiying expenditures can be found in our Taxes & Tax Planning Section.

February 13, 2010:

HST - Implementation date scheduled for Ontario, July 1, 2010.  Transitional Rules and legislation are in progress.  We will be offering a seminar in both March and May to assist our clients to understand the rules and how it will effect thier businesses

February 13, 2010:

2010 Federal Budget - Finance Minister Jim Flaherty, will table his annual Federal Budget on March 4th 2010. There will likely be changes that effect everyone, so watch for our budget notes on Friday morning afer the budget
